We are a cooperative owned by 17,000 dairy and beef farmers in Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. We are known as a leading global cattle breeding company with the world´s best genetics. We turn big data into accurate and reliable breeding programmes to benefit commercial farmers around the world.

We record the performance of almost a million cows annually to provide the Nordic Total Merit (NTM) index with the most complete and reliable breeding values.

We export to more than 50 countries and have a modern and innovative net of distributors in key markets. The United States, Russia, India, China, France, Italy, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, among them.

The Nordic farmers have been focused on breeding for health traits, low use of antibiotics and sustainability even before the constitution of VikingGenetics in 2008 with the merge of VikingDanmark and Växa in Sweden. Faba in Finland joined in 2010.
